Kamiński: election in Ukraine will come to an end in court

World

Mariusz Kamiński, L&J's observer of ukrainian election, said, that election is passing calmly. He doesn't expect any surprises. In electoral stuffs of both Janukowycz and Tymoszenko, calmness and confidence of entering the second round reign. Current president has no chances for entering the second round, despite he's strongly supported by Kiev inhabitants. Top ratings for Juszczenko are 6 to 8%.

According to Kamiński, candidates, who come 3rd and 4th, like Hrycenko, Jaceniuk or Tyhipko, will be able to o achieve much - by backing up Tymoszenko in the second round may gain e.g a prime minister post.

In Kamiński's opinion, presidential campaign will come to an end in court  due to the fact that one electoral stuff accuse another of manipulations. Very controversial is fact, that over a million of Ukrainians have registered as disabled and they will vote at home. It gives a possibility for manipulation.

This time L&J sent to Ukraine less observers than 5 years ago. As Kamiński said, this is because there's no fear of falsifying results of election.
